Mark Nocera

Mark Nocera is a former North American Champion, United States Vice-Champion, and semi-finalist at the World 10 Dance Championships. He has also performed and taught on network and cable television.

In 1984, Mark opened a dance studio in Boston, Studio 665. The studio ran for 33 years and garnered countless top teacher and studio awards. Studio 665 became one of the largest and longest running studios in Boston.

Mark also taught the MIT, Northeastern, and Boston University collegiate ballroom teams for several years before becoming the permanent head coach of the Tufts Ballroom Team for over 25 years. Mark has also taught numerous Pro/Am and Amateur finalists and champions at the national level.

Mark Nocera is a World Class Adjudicator with the National Dance Council of America and the World Dance Council. Notable competitions that Mark has judged in the United States include the United States Dance Championships, the United States Amateur National Championships, the Emerald Ball, and the Ohio Star Ball. Internationally, Mark has judged in South Africa and Denmark and has also judged the Icelandic National Championships and the WDC World Amateur 10 Dance Championship in Poland.

Mark is the organizer of the Eastern United States Dancesport Championships held in Boston each February, the Boca Ballroom Dancesport Competition in August, and the Naples Star Ball in October. Mark is also a former National Examiner in all styles with Dance Vision.

Aigars Stolcers

Aigars Stolcers is a former semi-finalist in several World Championships, a European finalist in the World Cup, and the Professional Latin Champion of both Austria and Latvia.  

In the Youth division, Aigars danced with Jevgenija Markova and became the Latvian Youth National Latin Champions and Latvian Youth National 10-Dance Vice-Champions. Aigars then partnered with Agita Baranovska, whom he later married, and became Youth Russian Open Spartak Cup finalists.

Aigars later moved back to Latvia where he started dancing with his coach's daughter, Viola Abramova, who was later a pro on Latvia’s Dancing with the Stars. They claimed the bronze medal in the Latvian Amateur Latin Championships after practicing for only two weeks.

Aigars then turned Professional, moved to Austria, and danced with Julia Polai. Together, they became semi-finalists of the World and European Professional Latin Championships, finishing 7th and 8th respectfully. They also became Professional Rising Star finalists at both the International and UK Open Championships. They were semi-finalists in the World Series, Asian Open, Dutch Open, Italian Open, and the Kremlin Cup finalists at the World Cup, World Masters, and Star Championships in Blackpool.

Aigars Stolcers is WDC World Class Adjudicator and a Canadian National Adjudicator. Aigars has judged all major American and Canadian Championships as well as various international competitions including the annual World Championships of Paris, World Masters, the WDC World Series, the Dutch Open Championships, Ohio Star Ball, Embassy Ball, the Manhattan Dance Championships, the Millennium Dancesport Championships, La Classique du Québec and many more. Aigars has judged the WDC World Amateur Championships several times, the 2019 World Professional Latin Championship in Miami, Florida, and the 2019 World Professional Latin Show Dance Championship in Bonn, Germany.

Aigars travels throughout the world, especially throughout Canada and the United States to instruct and lecture growing dancers in the competitive arena. He has coached many Canadian and American National Champions. In 2010, Aigars, Agita Baranovska, and two other business partners opened one of the largest Ballroom Dance studios in North America, Viva Ballroom Dance Studio. In 2016, Aigars and Agita opened a Pro-Am dance studio in the greater Toronto area known as Dance Masters. Aigars is also a partner as well as an instructor of the Dance Evolution Club Studio located in New Jersey (USA). He is also a Master Dance instructor at the Olympic Stars Dance Academy in Ontario (Canada).

In 2007, Aigars married Agita Baranovska in Toronto, Canada. On December 10th, 2011, the couple became parents. Two little twin girls came into the world at the Toronto East General Hospital with a one-minute difference: Annalisa Maria Stolcers at 8:17 AM and Daniella Victoria Stolcers at 8:18 AM.
